Baptism
WHAT:
Baptism is an important next step in our faith. It is an opportunity to celebrate our commitment to live a life surrendered to Christ with our church family. We believe Christian baptism is a public declaration of an identification with Christ in His death, burial, and resurrection signified by immersion in water. We regularly celebrate baptism at all of our venues. If you have yet to publicly declare your faith in Christ by being baptized, we encourage you to fill out the form below to learn more or to sign up for our next baptism.
WHEN:
Sunday, May 3 | 9 a.m. and 10:45 a.m
Adults, HS/MS Students, and Kids at the Chesterton Campus: If you are planning to be baptized, you’ll first need to attend a Baptism Orientation on April 19.
La Porte and Valparaiso Campus: Contact your campus pastor to start the baptism process.
What about younger children and babies? Child Dedication is for parents who wish to publicly express their commitment to raising their child in a way that encourages them to know God and develop a personal relationship with Christ.
