If this is your first time at Liberty, you are our honored guest. We want you to feel comfortable from the moment you walk through our doors. Here are a few frequently asked questions to help you plan your visit.
WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE
All of our worship services have a casual and informal atmosphere. The worship and music style varies depending upon the venue you choose. The service in our Worship Center at the Chesterton campus is blended with contemporary worship and classical hymns. LaPorte, Sacred Ground and Valparaiso offer a band-led contemporary worship service.
WHEN TO ARRIVE
We suggest arriving ten minutes before service begins to find parking, grab a cup of coffee, and check your child(ren) into our Children's Ministry.
What to wear
Come as you are. The environment is casual so you will see a variety of dress styles from jeans and t-shirts to an occasional suit and tie. Come dressed however you are comfortable.
Where do I go when I get there
Once you arrive at one of our campuses, look for a Welcome Center. You can expect to find a smiling face to greet you and to help you navigate your morning. At any time, feel free to ask for help or directions from any of our friendly volunteers wearing a yellow lanyard.
DO I NEED A BIBLE
If you own a Bible, you will want to bring it. Our pastors don’t preach sermons as much as they simply teach the Bible. They will refer to it often – and even encourage you to mark it up as your life-textbook. If you don’t have one, we provide Bibles at all of our venues. Our pastors teach from the English Standard Version (ESV) Bible, but feel free to bring along whichever version you have.
What Do you have for Children and Students
We have children’s programs available at all campuses. All volunteers go through background checks and receive excellent training to provide a safe environment for your children. To find the appropriate classroom for your children, head to a Welcome Center. Our team of dedicated volunteers will escort you and your children to their classrooms.
At the Chesterton campus, we have Student Ministry programs available at 9:30am. Visit one of our Welcome Centers for directions and information.
