Parables: The Stories That Search Us
When Jesus taught, He didn’t just deliver lectures or abstract theology. He told stories. Stories about farmers and seeds, weeds and wheat, sheep and sons, banquets and weddings, debtors and kings. Ordinary images—yet revealing eternal realities.
But these weren’t just Sunday School stories for our kids, they were spiritual diagnostics for us.
The parables reveal what the Kingdom of Heaven is like.
They reveal what God Himself is like.
They reveal what we are like.
And they force us to wrestle with how we will respond.
Over these seven weeks, we are not just going to study parables. We are going to let them study us.
